Armadillo Dash
Some members of our church went out to the Armadillo Dash half marathon last weekend dressed in our 80's gear. We hosted a water/Gatorade stop with our rockin' theme, the 80's! Not only was it a blast, the fun outfits, 80's "cover" band (our worship team singing 80's songs), and encouraging comments as they passed by seemed to be a huge hit with the runners. It may have just given them the extra "oomph" that they needed to continue on. I sure hope so! Here are some pictures from the craziness that ensued...

ReplyDeleteOur dietetic association hosted a water station too. Don't know what mile you were at, but the guy in first place was cruisin'! So much fun!
